Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks for complex problem-solving
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error mitigation and noise-resilient AI
- Collaborate with physicists to model quantum phenomena using AI techniques
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum/AI journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
- Contribute to ethical frameworks for responsible quantum AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI/ML, or Physics (or equivalent research experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong Python/C++ skills with ML frameworks (TensorFlow Quantum, PyTorch)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (VQE, QAOA, Grover)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
