Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed research for top-tier publications (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Translate theoretical quantum models into scalable production-ready systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation sprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum computing libraries (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science or AI
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum physics fundamentals
