Job Description
We are not just building software; we are engineering the fabric of reality for the year 2026. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Quantum AI Architect to lead our advanced research division. If you possess a deep understanding of the quantum frontier and a passion for solving humanity's most complex problems, this is your opportunity to define the next era of technology.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application, building hybrid systems that leverage the power of quantum processors to solve classical problems at unprecedented speeds.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography.
- Develop and maintain hybrid classical-quantum workflows to maximize hardware efficiency.
- Conduct cutting-edge research into error correction and noise mitigation for near-term quantum devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum capabilities into existing software ecosystems.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the intellectual property of the firm.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and R.
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or Forest).
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics.
