Responsibilities
- Design and implement the core architectural framework for Horizon's 2026 AI ecosystem, focusing on scalability and energy efficiency.
- Lead the research and integration of cutting-edge models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, ensuring robust deployment pipelines and real-time inference capabilities.
- Oversee the ethical implications of AI deployment, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with evolving regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical requirements into actionable architectural strategies.
- Mentor senior engineering talent and conduct technical reviews to maintain the highest standards of code quality.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in Machine Learning and Deep Learning engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing distributed systems for high-traffic, low-latency environments.
- Deep knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, and experience with GPU optimization (CUDA, TensorRT).
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision architectures.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in driving technical strategy and managing large-scale projects.
