Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of our IT infrastructure during night hours to ensure zero downtime.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate critical issues to the Day Shift Engineering team with detailed, actionable logs.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security audits.
- Assist remote users via phone and remote desktop tools with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our night-time operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in technical support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash) is a plus.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
