Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for night operations and backend maintenance.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security during off-peak hours to prevent downtime.
- Implement and deploy critical patches and updates without disrupting day-time user traffic.
- Debug complex technical issues that arise during non-standard operating hours.
- Collaborate with the Night Shift Operations Lead to ensure seamless transition between shifts.
- Optimize database queries and infrastructure performance to support high-traffic loads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
