Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for remote and onsite users during evening and weekend shifts.
- Monitor System Health: Perform nightly maintenance checks, server reboots, and patch management to ensure system stability.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and resolve tickets within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using JIRA or Zendesk.
- User Assistance: Assist employees with password resets, VPN configurations, and software installations.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security protocols and assist with the detection of unauthorized access or anomalies during off-hours.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions to improve future support processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM) and weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
