Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the high-level technical architecture for Project 2026, aligning with long-term business goals and industry trends.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Risk Management: Assess technical risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within scope and timeline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical blueprints.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party technologies and service providers that align with our architectural standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture or lead role.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Programming: Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Go, with a focus on scalable backend systems.
- Architecture: Proven experience designing microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse engineering teams and drive technical decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
