Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and oversee the development of advanced autonomous robotics platforms and neural network architectures for the 2026 product line.
- Research & Development: Lead internal R&D initiatives to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) directly into robotic hardware for enhanced decision-making capabilities.
- System Optimization: Optimize real-time perception algorithms and motion planning to ensure seamless operation in complex, dynamic environments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers, hardware specialists, and data scientists to deliver high-quality code and prototypes.
- Prototyping: Build and iterate on physical prototypes to validate theoretical concepts and improve mechanical efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements for autonomous vehicles and robotics.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in robotics engineering, software development, or autonomous systems.
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Frameworks: Deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Tools: Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim) and version control systems (Git).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, open-ended engineering problems under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
