Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis frameworks
- Quantify market impacts of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions with product, engineering, and investment teams
- Produce executive foresight reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Design and implement early-warning systems for disruptive market shifts
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in futurism (CFP) or similar preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience leading global teams across cultural boundaries
