Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic technology foresight frameworks aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions across biotech, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies
- Analyze global tech trends and geopolitical impacts on future business models
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide innovation mindset
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across C-suite to technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend impact methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three implemented future-focused initiatives
