Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Innovation Strategy framework, identifying emerging tech and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional futurist teams to develop scenario-planning models for disruptive market transitions
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable C-suite recommendations and product roadmaps
- Establish Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry publications
- Design and implement horizon-scanning processes using AI-driven trend analysis and ethnographic research
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and innovation labs
- Mentor a team of futurists while cultivating a culture of radical curiosity and intellectual courage
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, market research, or futures planning with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or policy shifts
- Mastery of scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required portfolio)
- Experience leading global teams in matrix organizations with $500M+ budget impact
