Job Description
We are at the precipice of a technological revolution, and we are seeking a visionary Lead Engineer to architect the infrastructure that will define the era of 2026. At Apex Horizon Systems, we are building the next generation of predictive AI and generative systems designed to scale with the future. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible with machine learning and distributed systems, this is your opportunity to lead a world-class team.
In this role, you will not just write code; you will define the technical roadmap for the future. You will work directly with our CTO to bridge the gap between theoretical AI concepts and production-ready, high-performance software. Join us in shaping the digital landscape of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable machine learning pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data ingestion and processing.
- Lead the design and development of core AI services and microservices for our 2026 product roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and designers to translate futuristic concepts into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize existing codebases and infrastructure to ensure maximum performance, security, and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous technical reviews to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and edge processing to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent machine learning frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues, and real-time data processing technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and architectural integrity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
