Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 release cycle, identifying critical technical debt and architectural improvements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of senior software engineers, fostering a culture of code excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Architecture Design: Design scalable, resilient, and secure microservices architectures that can handle projected growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, review code rigorously, and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure high delivery velocity.
- Technical Innovation: Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI integration, Edge Computing) relevant to the 2026 landscape.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); deep understanding of microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
