Job Description
At Apex Horizon Labs, we are not just building software for today; we are architecting the foundation for the year 2026. We are seeking a visionary Lead Architect: AI & Quantum Evolution to define the technical trajectory of our next-generation autonomous systems. This is a high-impact role where you will bridge the gap between current Generative AI capabilities and the Quantum supremacy expected in the coming years.
You will lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and quantum engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and ethically-aligned solutions that will define the landscape of technology in 2026 and beyond. If you thrive on ambiguity and want to shape the future of computing, apply now.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Create and maintain a strategic vision for integrating Generative AI models with quantum processing units to solve unsolvable problems today.
- System Architecture: Design scalable microservices and distributed systems capable of handling exascale data workloads and real-time quantum state processing.
- Protocol Development: Establish communication protocols between classical computing nodes and future quantum clusters, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and ethical AI development.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and architectural risks in long-term projects, proposing mitigation strategies well in advance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical 2026 roadmaps into clear, actionable insights for investors and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on AI/ML systems, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance computing.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Learning, and the principles of Quantum Computing (Qubits, Superposition, Entanglement).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Rust, and C++, with experience in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and anticipate technological trends leading up to 2026.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems in distributed systems and AI integration.
