Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance microservices architecture for the 2026 Protocol.
- Lead the technical strategy for integrating AI/ML models directly into core infrastructure.
- Oversee code reviews, system design reviews, and architecture migration strategies.
- Collaborate with product leads to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Ensure system security, resilience, and compliance with global data protection standards.
- Optimize database queries and network latency to handle petabyte-scale data streams.
- Mentor a team of senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in backend engineering, distributed systems, or software architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or Python with a focus on performance.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Experience with blockchain technologies or decentralized ledger systems.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams through large-scale technical transformations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
