Responsibilities
- Define the Technical Vision: Lead the architectural strategy for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and technological feasibility.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, scalable distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor senior and junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product teams to define roadmaps.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure all systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to improve system latency, throughput, and overall reliability for millions of users.
Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technologies: Deep proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with extensive experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Architecture: Proven track record of designing and scaling large-scale distributed systems.
