Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for global deployment.
- Conduct rigorous impact assessments on new AI models and datasets to identify and mitigate bias.
- Partner with engineering, product, and legal teams to integrate ethical considerations into the software development lifecycle.
- Engage with policymakers, industry bodies, and academia to advocate for responsible AI standards.
- Lead internal training and workshops to foster a culture of ethical awareness across the organization.
- Monitor global regulatory changes (e.g., EU AI Act, US Executive Orders) and advise on compliance strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Law, Computer Science, Philosophy, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, compliance, or regulatory affairs within the tech industry.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, including NLP and Generative AI architectures.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and influencing technical teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risk and propose actionable solutions.
