Job Description
We are pioneering the technological landscape of 2026. At Nexus Future Systems, we are building the infrastructure for the next era of digital intelligence. We are seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to spearhead the development of autonomous agents, advanced reasoning models, and self-improving generative systems.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and scalable production engineering. You will architect systems that are not only intelligent but also robust, safe, and aligned with human values. If you are passionate about the future of AI and want to define the standards for 2026, we want to hear from you.
Key Areas of Impact:
- Architecting next-generation LLMs and multimodal reasoning engines.
- Designing autonomous agent workflows capable of complex, long-horizon planning.
- Optimizing inference pipelines for high-performance, low-latency applications.
- Establishing safety and alignment protocols for sentient-level AI systems.
- Leading a world-class team of ML researchers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of proprietary AI architectures that push the boundaries of current generative capabilities.
- Autonomous Agents: Lead the development of self-directed AI agents capable of executing multi-step workflows without human intervention.
- Model Optimization: Improve model efficiency, reduce token costs, and enhance inference speed using techniques like quantization, distillation, and efficient attention mechanisms.
- R&D Leadership: Stay at the forefront of the AI field (e.g., LLM 2.0, Agentic AI) and translate theoretical advancements into practical engineering solutions.
- Safety & Compliance: Implement rigorous guardrails and alignment techniques to ensure AI outputs are safe, unbiased, and ethically sound.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate advanced AI features into our 2026 roadmap.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, RLHF, and distributed training frameworks.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think long-term (5-10 year horizon) regarding technology trends and their business implications.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and managing complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
