Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning and architectural design for the 2026 initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Technical Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and quality assurance protocols across all engineering teams.
- System Modernization: Overhaul legacy systems to support next-generation microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and scalability, implementing optimizations to handle projected traffic growth.
- Culture of Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization technologies (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of translating long-term business strategies into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers and influence senior leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
