Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues for internal staff and clients.
- On-Site Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance at our Austin headquarters and client sites during weekend operations.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine server checks, patch management, and software updates to ensure system stability.
- Network Security: Monitor network traffic and assist in maintaining a secure IT environment.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and manage asset lifecycle processes.
- Documentation: Create detailed tickets and documentation for all resolved incidents and new setups.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic knowledge of Linux or macOS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Schedule: Ability to work full-time weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with no weekend overtime.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems efficiently.
