Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Lead a hybrid team of engineers, designers, and strategists through agile development cycles
- Secure and manage $5M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and strategic partnerships
- Translate emerging technologies into viable market-ready products with 18-month horizons
- Establish KPIs for innovation velocity, measuring ROI from prototyping to commercialization
- Champion ethical AI deployment and circular economy principles in all initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles (Fortune 500 or startup scale)
- Proven track record launching at least 3 market-disrupting products
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating R&D commercialization with $10M+ revenue impact
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and Design Thinking methodologies
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture funding
