Responsibilities

  • Architect the Ethics Framework: Develop and maintain a comprehensive AI ethics framework that guides product development and corporate strategy.
  • Bias Auditing & Compliance: Lead regular audits of our machine learning models and datasets to identify and rectify algorithmic bias and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the primary spokesperson for the company's ethical stance, engaging with regulators, partners, and the public.
  • Policy Development: Stay ahead of global legislation (such as the EU AI Act and US federal guidelines) and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
  • Education & Training: Establish internal training programs to empower engineers and product managers to make ethical decisions during the design process.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential ethical risks in emerging technologies and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership, compliance, or governance role.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and generative AI architectures.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Proven track record of working with or advising on AI compliance frameworks and international data privacy laws.
