Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and technological forecasts
- Analyze emerging trends across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional ideation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts for future markets
- Present strategic innovation portfolios to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire early-stage startups with 2026-relevant IP
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership on industry evolution and disruption vectors
- Manage innovation incubation programs with $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 3+ year lead-time horizons
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption modeling frameworks
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in innovation management tools (e.g., Innovation Cloud, TrendHunter Pro)
