Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Champion innovation through startup scouting, strategic partnerships, and M&A opportunities
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team of futurists and technology analysts
- Author annual "Future State" reports influencing $1B+ investment decisions
- Represent Innovatech at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in Fortune 500 environments
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique, trend analysis)
