Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry projections and societal shifts
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to future-proof product portfolios and business models
- Pioneer scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruption
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology readiness and innovation velocity
- Present strategic briefings to investors, boards, and government stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology trends and implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record predicting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership on 2020s tech evolution or disruption scenarios
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFS)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
