Responsibilities

- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and strategic briefings for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to scout emerging technologies
- Quantify future market potential through data-driven forecasting and competitive analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investor groups
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of accurately predicting industry disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFrA) preferred
