Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption and innovation pipeline management
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology initiatives with long-term organizational goals
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory changes to assess compliance and opportunity implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative innovation
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at industry conferences and summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and strategic planning for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Demonstrated success in influencing executive decision-making through data-driven insights
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, accelerators, research institutions)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
