Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI governance) to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients adopting 2026-era technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on disruptive tech paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Monitor global policy/regulatory changes affecting tech innovation
- Build and maintain a network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published work in futurist journals or tech publications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementations
