Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) to forecast market opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into enterprise architecture
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product concepts and service innovations
- Present compelling future scenario analyses to executive leadership and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology disruption and future-proofing strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level storytelling abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies highly desirable
