Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic technology insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology convergence scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or foresight roles
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies at enterprise scale
- Deep expertise in AI, Web3, and biotechnology convergence trends
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio of published foresight research or technology impact assessments
