Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities through 2026
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academia and industry pioneers
- Anticipate societal implications of technological disruptions and develop ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in emerging technology forecasting or strategic innovation
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into actionable business plans
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism publications
