- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate 5-10 year industry transformations
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating breakthrough technologies with business objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial applications
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
