Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Translate complex tech concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience with regulatory tech policy analysis
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent
