Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) and their market implications through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and technological convergence
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technology disruption
- Present strategic insights to executive teams and investor forums
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with measurable ROI
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in technology convergence patterns and exponential growth models
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis
- Excellent presentation skills with experience addressing C-suite audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology impact assessments and strategic roadmaps
