- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and competitive threats
- Produce scenario-based impact analyses for regulatory, ethical, and societal implications
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor internal teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technological adoption (3-5 year accuracy)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AI, blockchain, biotech, or space tech
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS from APF) or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
