Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across enterprise operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Author futurist whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Establish ethical governance protocols for emerging tech adoption
- Partner with academic institutions to pioneer next-gen research initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technological shifts affecting tech evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record developing future-ready technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive communication experience
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist thought leadership (publications, patents, etc.)
