- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive partnerships and acquisition targets
- Design resilience strategies for technological black swan events
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year foresight track record
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain) and their societal impacts
- Certification in futures studies (e.g., CFCS) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis) and trend analysis methodologies
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures simply
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field preferred
