Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Present future scenarios to executive teams and stakeholders for decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough research initiatives
- Anticipate societal, ethical, and regulatory implications of future technologies
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist network across global offices
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech disruption analysis
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
