Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Present futuristic visions to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Establish cross-industry alliances to accelerate innovation adoption cycles
- Author thought leadership papers on technological disruption and market evolution
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or space tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data visualization mastery
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
