Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AGI) and their market implications through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and technology adoption readiness
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into development pipelines
- Deliver visionary presentations to executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-ethical implications of technological advancements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or equivalent with 8+ years in innovation consulting or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption curves and commercialization pathways
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, nanotech, neurotech) and their convergence patterns
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, multi-variable scenarios
- Credibility with executive leadership through published thought leadership or keynote speaking
- Experience in scenario planning and risk mitigation for disruptive technology transitions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or market disruption
