Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 3-5 year horizon impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable R&D initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior innovation teams on forward-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data literacy with advanced analytical and modeling skills
- Strong public speaking and executive communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation (patents, journals, conferences)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech-to-market innovations
