Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and societal shifts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable AI systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and assess commercial viability
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future tech opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate next-gen capabilities into existing ecosystems
- Author whitepapers on the societal impact of emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and tech analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in futurism or trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Published thought leadership in tech or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-oriented initiatives
