Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop ethical frameworks for deploying transformative technologies
- Present strategic briefings to investors and industry stakeholders
- Partner with academia to establish R&D partnerships in future-tech domains
- Monitor global tech policy shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech adoption patterns (2018-2025)
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
- Strong command of ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech principles
- Prior experience briefing C-suite executives on emerging tech risks/opportunities
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight publications
- Master's degree in Technology, Innovation, or Future Studies (PhD preferred)
