Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering) to identify strategic opportunities
- Design and facilitate workshops on future scenarios with cross-functional teams
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports with actionable insights
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness maturity
- Lead high-stakes client engagements on transformation strategies
- Maintain proprietary foresight database with 10,000+ trend indicators
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate foresight roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies (peer-reviewed)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Portfolio of implemented future-strategy initiatives
- Certification in AI ethics or quantum computing fundamentals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Anticipatory Intelligence)
- Track record advising C-suite on transformative change
