Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (tech, socio-economic, geopolitical) to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation and innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-vision implementation
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend validation
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal foresight capabilities
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and global stakeholder management
