You'll lead horizon scanning initiatives, develop scenario-based strategic frameworks, and guide cross-functional teams in executing future-proof initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic vision through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Build and nurture relationships with futurists, academic institutions, and emerging tech startups
- Produce forward-looking reports and strategic briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Identify disruptive opportunities across sectors (AI, biotech, space tech, climate solutions)
- Design and implement future literacy programs to cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-growth technology environments
