Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for clients in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable scenarios for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate immersive foresight workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams in scenario planning and strategic innovation methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring predictive accuracy of trend forecasts
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in systems thinking, complex adaptive systems, and pattern recognition
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
