Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for board-level stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Publish annual 'Horizon Report' on technological inflection points
- Establish partnerships with academic and research institutions
- Advise on ethical implications of disruptive technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in tech journals
- Experience with scenario modeling tools (e.g., GBN's scenario planning)
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies preferred
