In our dynamic San Francisco hub, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Silicon Valley pioneers, and UN futurists to develop predictive models, scenario-planning frameworks, and innovation roadmaps. Your insights will directly influence trillions in market value across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align on future innovation priorities
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Identify emerging technology convergence points and commercialization opportunities
- Design foresight methodologies to de-risk long-term R&D investments
- Represent the company at global futurist forums (Davos, WEF, SingularityU)
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry-leading foresight standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent practical experience (10+ years)
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier business publications
- Proven track record of advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic transformation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, or Cross-Impact Matrix
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Global network with academic, corporate, and governmental futurist communities
